Bob Wells
Owner & Chief Designer
Biochar Systems
New England Biochar LLC

Bob has a background in mechanical technology, conventional and organic farming, business and sales management. He has owned and operated businesses in electronics, metalworking, marine sales and service, boat building, re-manufacturing of outboard marine engines, commercial fishing, and organic farming.

“A nagging thought kept on haunting my subconscious that this biochar stuff was just too good to be true. But I kept getting great results wherever and however I applied it.”

Bob’s encounter with biochar has brought his Cape Cod’s infertile piece of land into a productive organic farm. Biochar was pivotal to his success, and his blueberries, market vegetables, and his famous plump Eastham Turnips are just half the story.
